Programs: CISCO Network Professional A.A.S., and CISCO Networking Associate Level 1 Certificate. Course Description: This course covers how to implement, monitor, and maintain switching in converged enterprise campus networks. How to plan, configure, and verity the implementation of complex enterprise switching solutions. How to secure integration of VLANs, WLANs, voice and video into campus networks. Implement, monitor, and maintain switching in an enterprise campus network; implement appropriate spanning tree protocols in campus networks; implement VLANs in campus networks; configure and optimize high availability and redundancy on switches; describe and implement LAN security features; and plan and prepare for advanced services in a campus infrastructure. Technology Requirements: A student must have regular access to a computer with a reliable Internet connection (high speed is strongly recommended), a webcam/camera, and must be proficient with a computer and navigating the Internet.
