Students must be in proper uniform in all class meetings. Lecture/Lab: This course will be delivered with the support of remote learning format for your lecture component and will meet at your scheduled class time via Zoom. Your instructor will provide a Zoom link for your class. The lab component will have face-to-face sessions. How often you meet face-to-face for lab sessions will be provided by your instructor. Your instructor will provide information about physical distancing and personal protective equipment requirements to ensure a safe learning environment. In order to participate in Lab classes, students DO NOT NEED the Metro Health Card if you have the certificate received from ServSafe National Certification Exam or the National Registry (Tap Series) National Certification Exam. You MUST provide a copy of the certificate to each of your lab instructors. If you do not have the Certificate (either you did not take the National Exam or you did not pass the National Exam) then you must take an ANSI approved food safety training course and provide proof of completion via a printed certificate by the first day of your lab class. ANSI approved on-line courses are offered by a variety of organizations, including: Learn2serve.com, StateFoodSafety.com, efoodcard.com, tapseries.com, and others.
