***NOTE*** This is a hybrid course in which students will be required to meet on campus for certain class/lab meeting days and times. The remainder of the classes will meet virtually via zoom. The instructor will provide the schedule and notify students on which class/labs will be held on campus. Please only attend on campus on the days and times assigned by the instructor. Students will be divided into groups attending class/lab at different days/times due to limited room capacity following social distancing protocol. It is recommended that students arrive early on campus to allow sufficient time for the screening required to enter buildings. A computer, secure and reliable internet access, and a webcam are needed for this course. This course will require the Respondus Lockdown Browser proctoring service which is not compatible with Chromebooks. ***THIS IS NOT A TRADITIONAL LECTURE COURSE. In this course we will learn the material through projects. There will be lecture material but the majority of class time will be dedicated to working collaboratively with peers. Through these collaborations you will build models, write stories and perform experiments that help you learn and demonstrate your understanding of the course material.*** This is a MATH-intensive course and is designed for Non-Science majors (like nursing, Allied Health, and others). Science majors must enroll in CHEM1311-General Chemistry-1 (or CHEM1411). A student cannot get credit for both CHEM1305 and CHEM1311.

• ***NOTE*** This course has been changed to a remote learning format and will meet via appropriate learning technology according to the posted schedule.
