DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. The electronic textbook for this class has already been paid for as part of your Instructional Materials Charge. Supplemental paper copies can also be rented or purchased.

You must have access to Microsoft Office 2019 or Office 365 for this course. Office 365 is available as a free download for our students. The textbook is designed for Windows computers, but experienced Mac users can succeed in the course. Please contact Michael Gershman for any questions at gershman@alamo.edu.

Smart Start Policy: On the first day of class please log on to ACES and visit our Canvas Homepage for important details. Students are required to begin MLA weekly assignments before the 3rd day of class. For more information please contact your instructor.

Tutoring: FREE Tutoring available, instructor will email updated weekly hours using Canvas “Inbox.” Tutoring will be available remotely, instructor will have the hours in the Orientation Module.

The cost of the textbooks for this course are included in your tuition. You can choose to buy or rent paper copies as supplementary material.

You must use a computer with Microsoft Office 365 or Office 2019. The college offers a free download of Office 365. The college also has extensive computer labs with Office 365 on campus. The assignments can be done with a Windows or Mac computer, but software and screen differences make using a Windows computer easier.
