Introductory Chemistry Lecture I - 14541 - CHEM 1305 - 001
This course will be taught using a remote learning format. This means you will meet using zoom at the specified times and days. You will NOT be required to attend on campus. A webcam and an appropriate computer that will run the Lockdown Browser software is required. This course does not require purchase of a textbook. A subscription to Knewton for $22 for the whole semester is required instead. All quizzes, readings and homework will be delivered through Knewton. You will acquire the subscription when starting the first assignment in the class. There is no need to purchase the software before beginning the class. This is a MATH-intensive course and is designed for Non-Science majors (like nursing, Allied Health, and others). Science majors must enroll in CHEM-1311-General Chemistry-1 (or CHEM-1411). A student cannot get credit for both CHEM-1305 and CHEM-1311. Completion of CHEM-1305 and CHEM-1105 is equivalent to CHEM-1405.
