This course will be taught as a Face to Face course. You will meet on campus in the designated room 2 times per week for the lecture, and 2 times per week for the lab. This course may require a webcam and computer that is compatible with the Lockdown Browser software.
This course does not require purchase of a textbook. A subscription to Knewton Alta software is required for the lecture and the lab manual will be provided electronically. You will acquire the Knewton Alta subscription when starting the first assignment in the class. There is no need to purchase the software before beginning the class. This is a MATH-intensive course and is designed for Non-Science majors (like nursing, Allied Health, and others). Science majors must enroll in CHEM-1311, General Chemistry-1, (or CHEM-1411). A student cannot get credit for both CHEM-1305 and CHEM-1311. Completion of CHEM-1305 and CHEM-1105 is equivalent to CHEM-1405.
