Students must be in proper uniform in all class meetings.
In order to participate in Lab classes, students DO NOT NEED the Metro Health Card if you have the certificate received from ServSafe National Certification Exam or the National Registry (Tap Series) National Certification Exam. You MUST provide a copy of the certificate to each of your lab instructors. If you do not have the Certificate (either you did not take the National Exam or you did not pass the National Exam) then you must take an ANSI approved food safety training course and provide proof of completion via a printed certificate by the first day of your lab class. ANSI approved on-line courses are offered by a variety of organizations, including: Learn2serve.com, StateFoodSafety.com, efoodcard.com, tapseries.com, and others.
This course meets on-campus (on-site) for instruction.
