This is a 16 week blended course that contains face-to-face and online content, focusing on Consumer Nutrition. The face to face portion of the class meets once a week and will include hands-on activities that relate to food choices and nutrition. Students will also work independently on online assignments and prerecorded lectures. This course will also include a COIL component (Collaborative Online International Learning), working alongside partnership students from outside the U.S to learn about differences and similarities pertaining to nutrition.
